Cabo Verde
In 2003 I traveled to China, Mongolia, the Gobi Desert, Turkey and Cape Verde in the search of hot, barren landscapes and loneliness. The heath at the Natural salt evaporation ponds at Pedra de Lume, Sal island, Cape Verde, was my thirstiest experience so far.
Even the photographs seamed to have gained a burned touch. Later I found out this was due to my smoking. My film scanner had moisture on its lens. It was time to go digital. So soon afterwards I bought my first digital Nikon (and quitted smoking as well).
