I was luky. When climbing to the summit of Mount Batur in the early morning, it was active. Putting eggs and bananas in the ground and having a steaming breakfast at sunrise, watching a roaring plume and hear bolders fall, is some experience indeed. A traditional cremation and a Komodo monitor lizard where on the menu as well.
